4th of July

Our new town has the most quintessential, small town 4th of July celebration complete with a parade that goes right down our street in front of our house.  After 5 days in the house, we worked hard to get things organized enough to have a few friends over to watch the parade.  Kate was really excited about all the activities and festivities.  After less than a week in town, her festive apparel even got her picture (about half her face) in the local paper!  We hope hosting friends on the front lawn for the parade becomes an annual tradition.
