We hosted play group this Thursday morning - just like old times. Of course there are now twice as many kids and the volume level and chaos has increased by multiples, but the friendships are as dear to us as ever. Yes, I am very glad that Kate has Olivia and Sadie as her first friends. But more so I am thankful for my friendships with their mothers. Their advice, support, and empathy has been priceless as I navigate my way through motherhood!
Here's hoping we can do it again before 2011!
