Kate is a budding party planner. She is constantly setting up parties and picnics all over our house! She tends to draw from experiences in her own life and then recreates them in her imaginary play over and over and over again. Lately she is big into birthdays and it seems each few days it is another one of her stuffed friends' birthdays. Last week it was Valentino's birthday and Minnie's birthday and I had to snap these pictures. These are not staged and were created solely by Kate without assistance or influence from Mom and Dad.

Kitty was brought in to take pictures of the party- I think this idea came from school picture day. Either that our the fact that I am always trying to take pictures.
Valentino and Baby Rose posing for pictures. In each celebration the yellow ring sorter in the background serves as the birthday cake and candle for the person of honor.
These shots are of Valentino's birthday party. Even Bubba got invited- he's sitting in Kate's booster seat. In addition to cake, she's serving lots of vegetables!
