We spent the morning at the Lincoln Park FARM in the Zoo.
It is a beautiful fall day so I wanted an outdoor activity. We didn't make it to this area of the zoo last week, so I figured Kate would enjoy herself. She certainly did! We saw bunnies, chickens, baby chicks, ponies, pigs, cows, goats, ducks and lots and lots of birds. We then weaved our way along the new Nature Boardwalk at the zoo and back past the flamingos and cougar and seal to the Children's train for another ride. Lastly we had a picnic of pizza, pears, banana and grapes before heading home.

Kate riding the Children's train- the highlight of which was the little boy who jumped on last minute between these two girls with a large tub of popcorn that he proceeded to share. Kate insisted we have more popcorn as a snack when we got home.
