Luke had his first bagel this morning. (You know how the Wiese family loves bagels!) We walked to the bagel store but then came home to eat quickly before Luke's nap. Wheat bagels was on a list from the pediatrician on first solids to try beyond baby food purees. He loved chewing on the hard exterior and then making mush out of the interior. Kate was on "bagel patrol"- rushing to pick it up and give it back to him when he dropped it on the floor. I am looking forward to slowing exploring more foods with Luke and gradually moving away from all the purees.
